new KANSAS CITY headquarters

Teatro Korazon has moved its headquarters to the top floor of a gorgeous 1897 mansion in Kansas City’s historic Scarritt Renaissance neighborhood. Owner Ross Wright renovated this historic structure from exquisitely after it had fallen into disrepair and now it is rented almost every weekend on VRBO. Since his goal, however, is to create cultural opportunities in the community, Maestro Wright and Teatro Korazon have created the monthly Second Tuesdays’ Salons and an affordable site for non-profit fundraisers and other activities that support the arts, including hosting Korazonics training in February, 2018.

Teatro Korazon occupies the entire top floor, providing a large performance/workshop space, its office, housing for director Christopher Fuelling and chef Andrew David, a guest room to host artists and The KoraZone, a whimsical additional guest room featuring mementos of Teatro Korazon’s inspiring namesake.
